registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Seeking skilled RNs with
experience in stepdown nursing for a travel assignment in
Claremont, NH. This opportunity offers a 36-hour per week day/night
rotation in a 10-bed Progressive Care unit specializing in complex
neurological and surgical cases. The role requires expertise in
managing patients with neuromuscular disorders, meningitis,
traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, and involvement in
specialized trials such as Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus with
lumbar drains. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient care
involving advanced hemodynamic monitoring, invasive blood pressure
management through arterial lines, and ventilator support including
Bi-PAP and C-PAP. Candidates must be proficient with tracheostomy
care, vasoactive medications including low dose pressors and
inotropes, administration of mannitol and hypertonic saline, and
management of complex wounds. Experience handling
ventriculostomies, subdural and lumbar drains in a neurological
stepdown care setting is essential. Key Qualifications and Desired
Experience: - Registered Nurse (RN) license with stepdown/
progressive care experience - Competence in arterial line insertion
and monitoring - Skilled in managing ventilated patients and
tracheostomy care - Knowledge of vasoactive drug administration and
continuous hemodynamic monitoring - Experience with neurological
surgical patients and complex post-operative care - Ability to
manage complex lines, tubes, and drains Location
