Job Description:

A North Shore Massachusetts manufacturer of cooling components seeks an exceptional individual to take charge of it's manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated, mission-oriented individual interested in filling a key position in a small, dynamic organization. He will lead a team of (50) employees, including the Production Supervisor & lead people, the QA Manager, and the Purchasing Manager.

Candidate will meet the following minimum qualifications:
* BS in Engineering or Science, or equivalent
* 5+ years manufacturing management experience
* Computer literate
* Excellent mechanical aptitude
* Outstanding leadership, communications, and people skills
* Knowledge of production machinery/process, including stamping, forming, machining, welding, brazing, mechanical assembly, and finish
* Experience in managing material suppliers and subcontractors.
* General knowledge of MRP systems is necessary. Familiarity with Exact MAX is a plus.

Special note, throughout 2020 the Company re-implemented an EXACT MAX / JobBoss planning system. However, despite stable sales to OEM's worldwide the Company continues to struggle with chronic late deliveries. The successful candidate will follow through on the last steps necessary to achieve an accurate planning model, and implement appropriate staffing and facility improvements.
