Job Description:

Leading Highway Guardrail Contractor seeks Welder/Fleet Mechanic AssistantJob Responsibilities included but not limited to:- Responsible for all welding, grinding and fabrication of metals which could include but not limited to; trucks, equipment, gates, guardrail, fence and special projects. Certified structural welder at 1/2".- Inspect and service Post Driver machines.- Operate equipment on an as needed basis; i.e. forklift, bobcat, crane and post drivers- Assist Fleet Mechanics with simple repairs and maintenance- This involves standing, bending, twisting and lifting.- Operates plasma cutter, electric welders, oxy/acetylene torches and miscellaneous related tools including but not limited to chain saws, cut off saws, band saw, drill press, etc- Heavy lifting up to 150 lbs- Requires incumbent to perform duties from standing, laying down, kneeling positions.
