As a CDL-A Truck Driver with Marvin, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of our top-of-the-line, made-to-order windows and doors. At Marvin, our drivers aren’t just part of the logistics; they are essential ambassadors of our brand, transporting products that enhance living spaces across the nation. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport finished goods to various distribution centers and customer locations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Report defects, accidents, or violations and ensure the security of the cargo. Manage proof of delivery paperwork from customers. Communicate effectively with dispatch and management about delays or unforeseen issues. Ability to operate and control a tractor-trailer and handle extensive physical activity. Knowledge of electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.). Attention to detail and good time-management skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). Must have a clean driving record. Endorsements for Hazardous Materials are a plus but not required.
