Job Description Job Description Primary Job Title: Phlebotomist - 1st Shift Alternate / Related Job Titles: • Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) • Clinical Phlebotomy Technician • Specimen Collection Technician • Mobile Phlebotomist Location & Onsite Flexibility: Brookline, MA — Onsite Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: ~2.5 months Start: As Soon As Possible Schedule: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM Pay Rate: $17 – $21/hr Job Summary The Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients seeking routine testing or critical diagnostic insights. This role is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing samples for laboratory testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR I creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence through clear communication, professionalism, and accurate specimen collection. Key Responsibilities Under the direction of the area supervisor, the Phlebotomist performs daily activities accurately and on time while maintaining a safe and professional environment. Responsibilities include forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, maintaining required records and documentation, and promoting a positive image with patients, clients, employees, and the public. This role emphasizes process excellence , confidentiality, and attention to detail.
