Job Description:

Customer Service Representative The Customer Service Representative will report directly to the Corporate Sales Director.What You Will Make HappenEnsure the customer work orders flow through the facility in a productive cost-effective manner. -Specification sheets must accurately reflect requirements necessary for manufacturing processes. -Individual must be able to effectively communicate with internal management, customers, sales, and plant employees. -Individual is required to maintain quality work and accurate retrievable records. -Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - - - - - - - - -Communicate and retrieve information from customers, management, and sales force successfully. - - - - - - - - - -Assist Account Receivables in researching customer payment issues. - - - - - - - - -Prepare and communicate job bag requirements and customer information to internal persons responsible for production and quality. - - - - - - - - -Use AS400 system in preparation for specification sheets and releases. - - - - - - - - -Manage customer inventories, raw material, WIP, and receivables. - - - - - - - - -Create cost estimates for pricing quotes. - - - - - - - - -Visit customers locations when necessary - - - - - - - - -Process job bags to include production totals, evaluations, waste, and disbanding job bags - - - - - - - - -Conduct new business meetings for special or unusual customer requirements. - - - - - - - - -Complete and monitor advisories. - - - - - - - - -Maintain customer samples files and carton process maps. - - - - - - - - -Identify, requisition into AS400, and facilitate information being placed on spec sheets related to inks, coatings, corrugated, paperboard, dies, and palletizing requirements. - - - - - - - - -Assist and facilitate graphics and structure approval when requested. - - - - - - - - -Work with customers and accounts receivable to ensure payment flow is timely, and accurate. - - - - - - - - -Write obsolete material request forms - - - - - - - - -Arrange customer pickup with carrier and determine number of pallets to be shipped when required. - - - - - - - - -Comply with requirements of the Internal Controls Policies & Procedures (ICPP) Manual.Additional Duties - - - - - - - - -Provide clarification and insight into customer expectations. - - - - - - - - -Facilitate customer issues with management and employees when necessary. - - - - - - - - -Any and all other duties assigned by the supervisor.Qualifications:Must have Associate degree, 4-year degree preferred.Know how to use Microsoft Excel.Willing to learn process and ability to multitask.No experience required, however, experience in folding carton, printing industry or customer service in a manufacturing company would be preferred.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be accurate and precise, be a good communicator, and be a problem solver.
