Dental Assistant – Care That Makes a Difference Greater Seacoast Community Health (GSCH) Families First Health & Support Center – Portsmouth, NH Goodwin Community Health – Somersworth, NH Full-Time | Monday–Friday Hourly Pay Starting at $23.00 (based on chairside experience & certifications) Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) pay starts at $27.00/hour $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS — Certified Dental Assistants (CDA) ONLY Sign-on bonus and CDA starting rate apply only to candidates who hold an active Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential at time of hire. We are seeking a Dental Assistant who is comfortable working chairside and ready to contribute immediately within a fast-paced clinical setting. You’ll join a collaborative, mission-driven team providing patient-centered care to our community. ? Required Qualifications Prior hands-on dental assisting experience in a clinical setting High school diploma or equivalent DANB (Dental Assistanting National Board) Radiology Certification (or ability to obtain promptly) Ability to function independently within a clinical workflow on day one Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills ? Preferred Qualifications Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) — eligible for $5,000 sign-on bonus and starting rate of $27.00/hour DANB certifications and NH Radiology Certificate Completion of an accredited dental assisting program Experience in community health or high-volume practice What You’ll Do As a Dental Assistant at GSCH, you will: Assist dentists and hygienists during restorative and preventive procedures Prepare operatories for treatment and maintain clinical workflow Take dental radiographs in compliance with the NH Dental Practice Act Perform delegated duties within dental assisting scope Maintain sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols Support patient education and clinical documentation Work closely with providers and support staff to ensure efficient patient care Why You’ll Love Working at GSCH We take care of our team the same way we care for our patients — with respect, support, and appreciation.
