Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Portland, Maine. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM /n• 36 guaranteed hours per week /n• Work 1 in 4 weekends on 12-hour shifts /n• Required to take one overnight call shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM for trauma call /n• Neuro call requirements: 50-150 hours in an 8-week time block /n• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience required /n• Level 1 trauma center experience required /n• Must be competent in circulating aneurysms, AVMs, complex craniotomies with navigation, and complex spine navigated cases with Airo-CT and O-arm /n• Robotics experience required /n• CNOR certification preferred /n• Work with equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot systems /n• Epic EMR system experience /n• 1:1 patient ratio in 26-bed operating room unit /n• Hospital-issued teal scrubs required /n• Must be flexible, accountable, timely, and a strong team player in fast-paced environment /n• Preferred experience in General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular procedures /n/n Facility: /n This Level 1 trauma center operates a comprehensive 26-bed operating room department providing specialized surgical services including neurosurgery, trauma, and complex procedures. The facility utilizes advanced technology including robotics systems and state-of-the-art navigation equipment for complex surgical cases.
