ACLS/BLS-AHA required. 10 bed ICU - Types of Cases / Patients in
ICU: Critically ill adult patients: medical emergencies, post
surgical care, respiratory failure, sepsis etc. (the typical mix
for community hospital ICUs) — since there are intensivists and
hospitalists, and the hospital handles specialty services (cardiac,
surgery, etc.). Some pediatric critical care: Exeter doesn't have
its own full pediatric ICU in many reports; often when children
become critically ill, they may need to be transferred to larger
tertiary pediatric centers. But the ICU does manage some ill
children in certain situations (e.g. early in illness, stabilizing)
when pediatric needs are involved. Stroke patients: Exeter has
telestroke / tele - neurology services, because they are certified
as a Primary Stroke Center. So acute stroke patients may be managed
in ICU if needed. Past working candidates must be separated from
BILH for 6 months to be considered. TB_RN ZRHC 5 Benefits of Travel
