Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work with 19-bed medical surgical unit serving pediatric to geriatric patient population • Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5, possibly 1:7 on night shifts • Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed • No on-call responsibilities • 8-hour non-billable orientation required • Use EPIC electronic medical record system • Dress code allows any color scrubs • Must have own vehicle for transportation • 3 years current medical surgical experience required • Previous travel experience (minimum 6 months) required • Telemetry/Progressive Care experience preferred • EPIC EMR experience required • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) • New Hampshire RN license or compact license required • Must be able to work posted schedule without accommodations • Maximum 5 days requested time off accepted (less preferred) • Block scheduling not available • Formulate individual patient care plans and coordinate patient care • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and documentation • Provide patient education and discharge planning • Delegate tasks appropriately to healthcare team members Facility: This 25-bed hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services in a community-focused environment.
