Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract RN opportunity is available to provide circulating nursing care in the operating room setting. This role requires delivering safe, high-quality surgical patient care by adhering to professional standards and collaborating effectively with the surgical team. Key responsibilities include ensuring patient safety during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases, applying thorough assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. You will operate under the guidance of surgical leadership and follow AORN Standards and Recommended Practices to maintain asepsis and infection control throughout procedures. Schedule highlights: Varying shifts: 5:45 AM2:15 PM, 6:00 AM2:30 PM, 8:30 AM5:00 PM, and 1:00 PM9:30 PM On-call responsibilities approximately one day per week and partial weekend coverage every six weeks 13-week contract duration Qualifications and experience: Active RN license in North Dakota or compact RN licensure BLS certification required within the orientation period Minimum two years of experience preferred, especially in Level 2 trauma settings Prior travel nursing experience is required Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred CNOR certification is an asset but not mandatory for circulating nurses Ability to exercise sound judgment, apply aseptic principles, and contribute as an effective team member Minot, North Dakota, is a welcoming community surrounded by natural beauty and offers a balanced lifestyle with outdoor recreational opportunities, cultural attractions, and friendly neighborhoods.
