Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatrics - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Pediatrics (Night Shift) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced RN with dual expertise in Labor & Delivery and Pediatrics for a 13-week assignment in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This role offers the opportunity to provide care in a small, high-acuity unit, supporting both adult med-surg and pediatric patients. Key Details - Location: Lawrence, MA (01841) - Unit: L&D and Pediatrics (8-bed unit) - Start Date: January 6, 2026 - End Date: April 6, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) - Orientation Dates: January 6 or January 27 - Patient Ratio: 1:3 Requirements - Experience: Minimum 3 years RN experience, including adult med-surg and pediatrics - Licensure: Permanent Massachusetts RN license (must be active at start) - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all required) - Documentation: COVID and flu vaccination records required - Other: Must have recent experience in both adult med-surg and pediatrics Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery and Pediatrics. - Manage adult med-surg cases alongside pediatric patients in an 8-bed unit. - Maintain safe patient ratios (1:3) while delivering high-quality care. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered outcomes. - Document accurately in EMR systems and adhere to hospital protocols.
