Growing together. /n We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. /n Location: 100 Bullocks Point Ave., Riverside, RI 02915 /n Hours: This is a 35-hour role where the manager is willing to be flexible to work with you on the schedule. The pharmacy is open Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 5:00 EST (30 minute from 12:30-1:00) /n Primary Responsibilities: /n /n - Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff /n - Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist /n - Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies /n - Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders /n - Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records /n - Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements /n - Performs various clerical duties relating to the department /n - Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills /n - Assists with deliveries as needed /n - Other duties as assigned /n /n What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? Required Qualifications: /n /n - Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Rhode Island /n - Ability to use own's vehicle to make deliveries as needed /n - Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license /n /n Preferred Qualifications: /n /n - National Pharmacy Technician Certification /n - Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience /n - Bilingual in Spanish and English /n - Bilingual in Portuguese and English /n /n /n Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
