Job Description:
*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate
will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate
exceptional patient care skills. The Registered Nurse will be
responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans,
and ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice are
maintained.*Responsibilities** Conduct thorough patient
assessments, including health history and physical examinations.*
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient
needs and medical conditions.* Administer medications and
injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.*
Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in
condition or emergencies.* Provide education and health coaching to
patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health
management.* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other
healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.* Document
all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately in
medical records.* Participate in quality improvement initiatives
and adhere to infection control standards.*Experience** Current
Vermont RN or multi-state licensure and BCLS certification are
essential, while ACLS certification is highly desired.* Experience
in Medical/Surgical nursing preferred; familiarity with ICD-9
coding is a plus.* Proven ability to administer injections safely
and effectively.* Strong communication skills with the ability to
work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Join our team
