(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Hospitalist - We are recruiting an Experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the Hospitalist Team in the Merrimack Valley

The Nurse Practitioner role is primarily in admitting new patients with the supervision of the attending physician. At times discharging patients or rounding on patients with the attending physician is also done. 12 Hours Shifts; 7 on - 7 off. Patient Census per day 9-11 patients.

Duties also include Care of hospitalized adults including medical, surgical and telemetry patients. The Nurse Practitioner shall elicit a comprehensive health history, physical exam and assessment of the patient. Perform the appropriate documentation in the medical record (History and Physical, Progress Note, Discharge Summary) and present information on the patient to the attending supervising physician

2 3 years Acute - Critical Care - ICU inpatient or Hospitalist experienced Required. Must possess a current Massachusetts license, current Massachusetts Controlled Substances registration, current Federal DEA registration, and current ACLS certification
