• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT category managers.
• Set performance goals and conduct evaluations.
• Foster an innovative, collaborative, high-performance environment.Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement strategies for IT categories.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Align category strategies with agency goals.
  • Anticipate future needs and provide proactive solutions.Category Management:
    • Oversee pricing, promotion, and portfolio offerings.
    • Ensure product and service availability.
    • Develop exit strategies for underperforming offerings.
    • Keep categories current with industry trends.Vendor and Stakeholder Relations:
      • Build relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
      • Negotiate contracts for value.
      • Coordinate with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams.Performance Monitoring:
        • Track performance metrics.
        • Implement corrective actions.
        • Report to senior management.Value Creation:
          • Manage revenue and spend targets.Qualifications:
            • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, IT, Business, or related field.
            • Understanding of IT hardware, telecommunications, and services industries.
            • Experience in category management or similar roles.
            • Leadership, communication, negotiation skills.
            • Data analysis and market research proficiency.
            • Ability to manage multiple projects.
            • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools.Preferred Skills:
              • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management.
              • Familiarity with marketing and sales principles.
