Fabrication, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely
flow of materials and work-in-progress (WIP) through all stages of
production. This hands-on role focuses on identifying and resolving
bottlenecks, expediting late or at-risk jobs, and ensuring orders
meet both production and delivery targets. The PC Expeditor plays a
key role in job preparation and release, material coordination, and
workflow monitoring to support continuous operations. Working
cross-functionally with production, maintenance, engineering,
quality, and logistics teams, the PC Expeditor actively adjusts
priorities and removes real-time roadblocks. The ultimate goal is
to enable efficient, high-quality, and on-time manufacturing output
that meets customer requirements. Job Details Duties &
Responsibilities: Support execution of production schedules by
coordinating material availability and workflow priorities. Monitor
and control the flow of materials and product (“jobs”) through the
production process. Manage job releases, release adjustments, and
inventory transactions in ERP system. Work closely with Team Leads
and Production Supervisors to identify and resolve bottlenecks and
production delays, ensuring the smooth and continuous flow of
production. Prepare and maintain daily production reports,
including progress, efficiency, and related metrics. Communicate
production status, changes, and updates to all relevant internal
departments and personnel. Directly communicate with customers
regarding order status, delivery timelines, and any potential
delays. Coordinate with procurement and inventory management to
ensure availability of materials. Document and report any
production issues or discrepancies to the relevant stakeholders.
Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or
areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with industry standards,
regulatory requirements, and company policies. Promote and maintain
a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and
encouraging safe behaviors. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Understanding of production workflows, scheduling, capacity, and
material flow in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of
inventory management concepts, WIP tracking, kanban/pull systems,
and material staging. Ability to juggle competing priorities,
manage multiple orders and updates, and remain deadline-driven in a
dynamic environment. Proficient in analyzing production data,
spotting bottlenecks, and identifying trends or improvement
opportunities. Skilled problem-solver: Quick and creative
resolution of issues that may impact production flow. Comfortable
using ERP systems, MS Excel, and production tracking dashboards to
perform transactions and generate reports. Strong written and
verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and
professionally, including timely updates to customers or
customer-facing reps. Adaptable and able to shift focus or
re-prioritize in response to real-time issues without losing sight
of delivery goals. Team player — ability to work collaboratively
and build strong working relationships across departments and teams
to coordinate resources and resolve delays effectively. Take the
initiative to monitor progress, flag concerns early, and seek out
ways to optimize flow without waiting for direction. Ensure data
entry, transactions, and communications remain precise even during
high-pressure situations or last-minute schedule changes. Recognize
how internal delays affect external customer satisfaction and take
ownership of mitigating those risks. Education & Experience
Requirements: High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or Vocational
Training. Experience working in production/manufacturing
operations, preferably in Production Control, Procurement,
Planning, or related role/field. Working Conditions: This role
requires regular presence in both office and production floor
environments. Must be able to navigate manufacturing areas and work
8-hour shifts plus overtime when needed. All Employees Shall:
Perform all duties in a timely fashion to support production needs.
Follow all procedures and work instructions. Elevate any compliance
or maintenance issues. Comply with the EH&S Policy and
applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements.
Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either
unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure
prompt resolution of potential hazards. Actively support the
organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans.
