Job Description:
At Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental and industrial
services, we are seeking a Senior Asset Manager to oversee our
fleet and equipment assets within the automotive sector. This role
is pivotal in maintaining the functionality and readiness of our
vehicle and equipment assets, ensuring operational excellence and
compliance with environmental standards. The successful candidate
will champion the sustainability initiatives of Clean Harbors
through effective asset management strategies, thereby supporting
our mission to protect the environment. Develop and implement asset
management strategies and plans for the company’s automotive fleet
and related equipment. Monitor the performance and condition of
assets, ensuring compliance with both environmental and industry
regulations. Lead asset life cycle analyses to optimize performance
and sustainability of fleet operations. Coordinate with various
departments to align asset management with overall business
objectives and operational needs. Manage budgeting, procurement,
and inventory processes related to vehicles and service parts.
Forecast future asset needs and retirement to balance cost, risk,
and performance. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of
asset status, performance metrics, and maintenance schedules.
Proven experience in asset management or related field within the
automotive industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and
vehicle operation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage budgets and prepare financial forecasts. Superior
organizational and leadership skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification as a
Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) or similar is preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
