Job Description The Social Media Specialist (SMS), is an exciting new position in our business We are looking for creatives, graphic designers and/or artists to help us expand our eCommerce and social media and brand presence online as we grow Enjoy a fun, collaborative and engaging role and work environment in store with our team It is a creative, innovative, full-time position, responsible for collaborating with the creative director and leadership team in planning, implementing, maintaining and monitoring Circles of Wisdom---s Social Media & Marketing strategy. Be a part of an amazing team and business as we develop together to the next level Our goal is to increase brand awareness, exposure and reach, improve marketing efforts and increase sales. The SMS creates engaging and visually compelling brand content aligned with current trends. They are also responsible for managing posts, emails, website and responding to customers. The goal is to increase market presence, which then translates into increased web traffic and sales. The SMS must stay current with the latest digital technologies, marketing techniques and social media trends. They must be able to express our company---s views creatively. The SMS interacts with targeted real and virtual communities. They network with existing and potential customers to promote our products and services and provide customer support. Responsibilities Include: Work in store with Creative Director to create and implement social media & marketing strategies. Strategize and develop online content production and scheduling for all platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Website. Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news, etc.). Build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialog and messaging. Ensure a positive and seamless customer service experience across all platforms. Respond to all queries in a timely manner. Monitor customer comments. Quickly and gracefully, resolve any customer issues or negative reviews. Add merchandise to website as well as assist in maintaining the look and feel of the online store. Assist with planning and production of Facebook Live or other social media promotions from start to finish. This includes product selection, production prep, participating during the live feed, customer billing and shipping. Create cohesive brand graphics and content for in-store signage, social media platforms, other advertising and website. Maintain a schedule for print and online advertising deadlines. Generate content and enter calendar listings on other websites as needed Develop social media strategy action plans through research in audience identification, product trends, and industry benchmarking. Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media. Oversee social media accounts--- designs. Suggest updates according to current trends and platform changes. Suggest and implement new ideas to develop brand awareness, such as promotions and competitions. Establish relationships with the online community by identifying and engaging key influencers and communities that correlate with our online brand strategy Ensure all procedures, policies, and standards are followed accurately and efficiently. Perform all functions in an efficient and timely manner, adapting daily tasks as directed by leadership team. Qualifications and Competencies: Previous social media and computer experience required Available to work a 5 day week Including occasional small weekend shifts for large events Experience creating graphics, art, design and/or taking high-quality photos Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers in a professional manner. Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities Driven self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
