CFS has partnered with a Portsmouth, NH based global manufacturing company to identify an Assistant Controller. Highlights of the Assistant Controller opportunity: The Company: Multinational, publicly traded company with over $1B in revenue. The Growth: Founded over 100 years ago, our client is the industry leader in their manufacturing niche. Year-over-year growth! The Position: Lead a corporate accounting and financial reporting team that will be responsible for accounting policy, corporate accounting, technical accounting, and (SEC) reporting activities The Assistant Controller's responsibilities include but are not limited to : Manage external reporting efforts to the SEC, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K Direct the corporate accounting and financial reporting team Drive process improvement in the accounting close and reporting processes Drive application of both new and existing accounting standards Central point of contact with external and internal auditors Subject matter expert on interpretation and implementation of all current, new and evolving U.S. GAAP accounting issues Assist management in other corporate areas such as investor relations, treasury, acquisition due diligence and purchase accounting Develop and mentor staff Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required CPA preferred Minimum 10 years combined accounting experience in a global company and a public accounting firm Experience leading the preparation of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting Experience working with a global ERP system Experience working for a large, multinational, publicly traded company INJUNE2025 ZRCFS LI-MS9
