At this time we are looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant reporting to the Accounting Manager -that will be able to provide excellent customer service to multiple clients assigned. In this role, you will be responsible for providing all general accounting functions, maintaining accounting systems and helping to establish policies and procedures. Overall, this position ensures the accurate analysis and reporting of accounting data and acts as liaison between the company, government, client, and CPA auditors in providing the required information and ensuring that proper information is maintained. -The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Performing all basic accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, month end closing, journal entries and general ledger maintenance
• Overseeing basic Accounting procedures (A/R, A/P, P/R, G/L, tax payments).
• Monitoring and reviewing all record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transitions.
• Ensuring all active projects are covered by valid, binding contracts.
• Reviewing, analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Perform analysis of operations on a monthly basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned. - -Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field preferred or above.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • Exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Work independently and be able to multitask
  • High attention to details, ability to work well with others, and have "Can-do" outlook.
  • Able to enter accurate financial /numerical data
  • Analytical and critical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to apply discretion, trust with confidential company information
