Job Description:
Marketing Senior Analyst (The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. -
Boston, Massachusetts): Perform data analysis, quantitative modeling,
and data visualization in order to provide powerful analytics-based
business insights to BCG practice areas and stakeholders in order to
realize data-driven business opportunities from their marketing
activities. Specific duties include: utilize data analysis to
further develop BCG Marketing driven business opportunities from their marketing activities.

Marketing’s business intelligence platform by providing expertise in
refining the current data model; ensure data accuracy and integrity; build
dashboards to make CRM data actionable for end users; research emerging
business tools and develop advanced business models to broaden the scope and
depth of business analytics provided by the team; develop additional
technical options to enhance reporting effectiveness; collaborate with the
Marketing Analytics, Marketing Platforms, Business Service Group and
Digital Marketing team members to prioritize business requirements,
including scope definition and statements of work; leverage existing tools to
allow stakeholders to explore data in new ways; promote the marketing
business intelligence tool and its best usage within BCG to stakeholders;
assist marketing team to enhance mailing series and event tracking;
provide support to stakeholders on subject matter expertise; and resolve
system technical problems by collaborating with vendors and partners to
identify and research functionality in order to improve performance.
Requires Master's degree in business administration, business analytics,
finance or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
plus two (2) years of experience driving business insight through
business/marketing analytics and data visualization using Tableau, Alteryx, SQL,
SAS and R. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience
requirements not applicable to this section) – must possess the following:
(i) Visualization tools including Tableau and SSRS; (ii) Advanced
modeling tools including SAS and R; (iii) Data management tools including
Excel, SQL, Alteryx, and PowerPivot; and (iv) Email marketing tools and
web analytics platforms including Exact Target, Google Analytics and
CRM. Domestic/International travel (up to 20%) required based on
company/client need. Multiple positions available. Must have unrestricted
authorization to work in U.S. M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 45+ hours per week.
